Act to Fund Trunk or Treat Tabling Collaboration event

SECTION 1. TITLE. This Act may be referred to as the “Trunk or Treat Tabling Collaboration Funding Bill”

SECTION 2. DEFINITIONS.

1. SGA — The term “SGA” shall refer to the Student Government Association of The Johns Hopkins University.
2. JHU, Hopkins - The terms “JHU” and “Hopkins” shall refer to the Johns Hopkins University.
3. Trunk or Treat- The term “Trunk or Treat” refers to the use of the decorated trunk of a car to disperse candy.

SECTION 3. FINDINGS AND PURPOSES.

1. The purpose of this event is to bring the JHU community together by permitting organizations to have a table and decorate it how they choose at the event.
2. This event will be a great opportunity to garner new members and to show the wider JHU campus what your organization is about, while also having a little treat.
3. The main cost for this event will be for decorations and candy for the table, which can be purchased from Amazon. The cost should not exceed $100

SECTION 4. FUNDING OF ITEMS

1. The total amount would be $100
2. Need $100 maximum

SECTION 5 . SEVERABILITY. Should any provision of this Act, an amendment made by this Act, or the application of such provision or amendment to any person or circumstance be held to be unconstitutional or , the remainder of this Act, the amendments made by this Act, and the application of such provision or amendment to any person or circumstances shall not be affected thereby.

The Bill hereby Passes by a vote of x to x with x abstentions.

Upon passage, we have hereunto set our hands and caused the seal of the Senate to be affixed to this bill indicating the Senate’s assent and thus officially designated the bill’s adoption as law.
