Possible Venues:

Cylburn Arboretum - specifically the The Vollmer Center https://bcrp.baltimorecity.gov/sites/default/files/2024-25%20Rental%20Rates%20&%20Guide%20(Cylburn%20&%20HPRC)%202.pdf 4915 Greenspring Avenue in Cylburn Arboretum Cost:

  • $3570/$4655 (7 hours), Friday & Sunday
    • Indoor rentals include tables and chairs (set-up/break-down not included.)
  • $4200/$5460 (7 hours), Saturdays
  • 1000 security deposit
  • 150 for AV
  • There’s a set of approved caterers (Need to check)
  • Also probably a photographer fee as they have a specific one from their website
  • Then food + transportation

Pros:

  • Can handle 150 people - similar to gertudes
  • Really pretty
  • Big outdoor space

Cons:

  • Can’t tent outdoor area
  • Venue may be more expensive
  • They have this weird clause of All ticketed events (fundraising events, galas, breakfasts, etc.) must sell their tickets in advance of the event. No tickets may be sold at the door.

Evergreen Library https://evergreenevents.library.jhu.edu/rental-information/rental-fees/ Cost:

  • $6,900 on Fridays

Pros:

  • Can handle 170 people
  • Has been done/already have contacts
  • Through Hopkins ig (since when???)

Cons:

  • Very pricy for the venue
  • Uh they only activate from April to October so we probably can’t even do it

The Assembly Room 318-316 Guilford Ave, Baltimore, MD 21202 https://theassemblyroombaltimore.com/ Cost:

  • 7500 for 1 room, 8000 for 2 + 10% discount i think since we are non-profit

Pros:

  • Really really fuckin big
  • We can literally make the venue into anything
  • Inner harbor transport is relatively straight forward
  • We could probably get away with like 5-8k spent on food

Cons:

Cruise Inner Harbor Cruise Cost:

  • 100 per person

Pros:

  • It’s a cruise

Cons:

  • Probably the most expensive
  • People need to commit a lot of time
