Executive Meeting #18

February 18th, 2026 / 11:00 AM / BSC 402

Present: Jessica, Charles 2. RSOs new registration timeline inquiries

  1. Their process is being updated and will likely be back open next fall.

3. Spring elections and coordination with CSE Confirmations for new positions Proposed Timeline:

  • Info sessions Week of 3/9
  • Applications due 3/15 (before Spring Break, technically)
  • Campaign week is 3/22 (as soon as we come back from break)
  • Debate would be 3/23
  • Elections would be week of 3/27

4. Charles ICE discussion with senators

  1. Sophia, Honora and Peter had a discussion with Charles. He noted that Sophia had an excellent knowledge on what we can do to protect our students.
  2. Charles noted that the university is navigating through an overwhelming amount of work regarding legal issues, and it would be a great learning opportunity for those senators to recognize what the university is working on and what risks we must consider when taking action as SGA, especially when a university is not required to have an SGA.

5. Sean’s Course Transparency Act

  1. The bill was moved to next week.
  2. Srigouri and Vishnu noted that this act does not have to be an SGA based initiative. Peter (senator) noted this act happened from a student in a different university, not their SGA.
