What is the Women & Gender Minority Caucus? The WGMC focuses on representing and elevating the voices of women & gender-minority students. By joining our caucus, you can directly contribute to shaping the campus experience for these students, ensuring that their unique needs and concerns are heard and addressed. Why Should You Join? Help improve campus life for women, transgender, gender-nonconforming, and gender-minority individuals at JHU!
What Initiatives will WGMC Work on this Year? Gender neutral bathroom access across campus/in MSE Renovation GSR, Office of Student Services, DEI Resources across campus Gender-Based & Sexual Violence on Campus Sexual Assault Resource Unit, Sexual Violence Advisory Committee, Fraternity & Sorority Life Name-change ease of access across campus, concordance between SIS & Microsoft Services & JCard, etc. Faculty/administrative/student trainings & procedure on pronouns, inclusion, gender-based-violence, consent, etc. Hold JHU accountable & ensure all students can thrive!

Who can join? ANYONE! No restrictions on SGA status, relevant club involvement, identity, etc. What’s the commitment?
Bi-weekly Zoom meeting, 45 minutes :)
Currently, we meet every other Thursday 9:15pm-10:00pm. Time is SUBJECT TO CHANGE based on member’s availability, wants, etc. once 10 members are reached.
