SECTION 1. TITLE. This Act may be referred to as the “SGA Graduation Stole Funding Bill”

SECTION 2. DEFINITIONS.

1. SGA — The term “SGA” shall refer to the Student Government Association of The Johns Hopkins University.
2. JHU, Hopkins - The terms “JHU” and “Hopkins” shall refer to the Johns Hopkins University.

SECTION 3. FINDINGS AND PURPOSES.

1. FINDINGS & PURPOSES (explain why funding is needed, what the event is for, and what content and sponsorship is desired -- open to all? Celebrating event? Etc. )
   1. The SGA closet has been mismanaged and disorganized for as long as most can remember
      1. We share a closet with other student engagement teams
      2. It is easy to get confused about what belongs to us versus them
   2. The closet is shared by general SGA programming as well as the individual class programming councils
      1. Office of Programming
         1. Senior Council
         2. Junior Council
         3. Sophomore Council
         4. Freshman Council
   3. A form of this bill was passed last administration but LEED never formalized the order. This is an attempt to rectify this.
      1. This is a great decrease from the original bill which was ~$800
   4. As you can see from the photo, this is very necessary

SECTION 4. FUNDING OF ITEMS

1. The total amount would be $272.88

SECTION 5 . SEVERABILITY. Should any provision of this Act, an amendment made by this Act, or the application of such provision or amendment to any person or circumstance be held to be unconstitutional or , the remainder of this Act, the amendments made by this Act, and the application of such provision or amendment to any person or circumstances shall not be affected thereby.

The Bill hereby Passes by a vote of 16 to 0 with 0 abstentions.

Upon passage, we have hereunto set our hands and caused the seal of the Senate to be affixed to this bill indicating the Senate’s assent and thus officially designated the bill’s adoption as law.
