My name is Preeti Balakrishnan and I am running for the position of Senator on the Committee of Finance for the class of 2006. I currently hold this position and am, therefore, experienced with the way in which the Committee on Finance operates. As the senator of finance, I will do my best to ensure that the class of 2006 receives the maximum possible benefits from student council funding.

Furthermore, I would like to increase awareness of the various sources of funding available on campus and around the community and would use my position to achieve this goal. My experience with finance on student council as well as other organizations, along with my enthusiasm and resolve to help the class of 2006 and other student organizations obtain the funding they need make me the most qualified candidate for the position of the class of 2006 Senator of Finance.
