- 110th SGA presentation involved survey results, “what students want”
- What can we do about the student center?
- Tyler indicated they do not have the great structure for large scale event spaces.
- Srigouri reported the chair positioning is awkward.
- It is hard to wire through the building.
- Srigouri said if there are TV channels playing that would be great.
- Srigouri also said students need access to use the rooms.
- Outlet towers. Charles told the executive board to follow up with Rachel and Dr. Brown.
- Instagram Q&A on what change do you want to see in the Student Center.
- The outline consists of: Campus experience, construction, student services, mental health and wellbeing, student organization funding, public safety, SGA’s current goals to address student needs, initiatives, amplifying Hopkins goals, translating policy to students, building campus culture through transitions, bringing BSC to life.
- Everything that would be talked about in the meeting needs to be written down.
- BoT wants to increase the funding for SGA and student organizations. Charles said we should advocate for Hop as the main Hopkins programming org. As student organizations are no longer receiving funding from academic departments, now the burden is on SGA. We must think about how we want to increase the funding to student organizations. We should also research other college student governments to see how we can improve the Hopkins SGA.
- Charles told the E-board we should have a PDF document draft by Thursday and have a presentation ready by Friday.
- DoC Jo reported she has been emailing with the safety.
- We should have a slide for cohort time.
- SGA official pictures in the spring semester.
