      1. Nasreen: Video provides a way for us to reflect
    6. Discussion of SGA Website- Director Connie Weng, Vice President Jackson Morris
      1. Connie: Disclaimer is that the HopkinsGroups interface is really bad, in which the customizability is not possible through the website. SGA was thinking about bringing a “directory”-like website in which senators can input their target goals and find any senator or senior administration to work on initiatives with
      2. Stone: IA still doesn’t have updated guiding documents, but we will move on with having this be more of the IA role, rather than secretary role. Currently, the updated website has someone FaceTiming, so I don’t think it is a best way to portray SGA
      3. Danial: Asked whether or not we can directly put what we are about on the main website, as it would be good to know what SGA is - Stone replied that it is possible to add new things to the main page, but the page overall is limited
      4. Tarini: Cornell’s website is really well organized, and we should use their website as a template
    7. Spring 2024 Bylaws Update - Nas
      1. The bill was shown, people have seen what the bill is about
      2. Tim: Point of information, why is the VP role cutting out the collaboration aspects?
      3. Jaden: The VP making the agenda goes against the Constitution
      4. Nas: The purpose of this bill is to discuss unclear responsibilities, which is affecting our work ethic in exec. Beforehand, President is “internal-facing” and VP is “external-facing.” The President of the Senate is running the Senate while the President is running the exec, what is the VP supposed to do? The previous structure was rather successful due to clear-cut positions. Now, many people who have to vote for President of the Senate often do not know what the role does. This is only first reading; I encourage discussions about this bill, which will be enacted to next administration
      5. Stone: Motion to move to the IA committee
    8. SGA Closet Organization Funding Bill Spring 2024 - Programming Chair Jazzlyn Fernandez
      1. Closet organization funding bill - Shalala was not here to present so Jazz presented instead
      2. The closet is a bit disorganized, so the point of the bill is for organizing - bins, names, any class senator will be able to organize and use what’s actually SGA’s material. This is to help with the many class formals and other organization of materials.
      3. Nas: This is also in first reading, further discuss in next GBM
      4. Cynthia: Can we add more of the labeling materials? Also, are Caucus Chairs allowed to access the closet?
        1. Yes and Yes
      5. Tim: Motion to move to Finance committee
      6. Ryan: For context, we’ve been having this additional access to make sure things are organized, wants to make sure senators are messaging someone in exec to make sure people are understanding what’s in the closet. Also, this bill was passed previously, but did not pass through because of purchase requests - the senate believes that we need more than one budget label.
  8. Second Reading

  9. Prospective Legislation & Announcements (5 min)

    1. Senator of the Week- President Nasreen Naqvi
      1. Nas: Senator of the week is Buse and Kareem, the assistant secretaries - they are not here, but they have really picked up the workload for the Secretary
    2. Attendance Check-Out - President Nasreen Naqvi
  10. Adjournment (Estimated 9:00 PM)

Time-length and adjournment estimates are provided for the benefit of guests at Senate meetings.
