Summer Executive Meeting #4

   2. Present: Sumi, Jason, Amy, Grace, Sienna
   3. Faculty: Charles, Tekeya
2. Agenda Items
   1. Tabling tomorrow (8/27) at democracy day
   2. Sumi: rundown of what initiatives the Senators are talking about
      1. Cultural RSO council - RJ
      2. Charles: already exists a muli-cultural leadership council
      3. Sophia: JHPD, OIS collaboration to talk about armed police force; students approached by armed police felt uncomfortable
         1. Invite Dr. Brandville Bard to GBM
         2. Sophia & Peter meeting with exec
            1. Create questions about JHPD - armed, training
   3. Jazz: Swearing-in Tekeya in a formal way at a GBM (Shreemann found clause in the bylaws)
      1. Sumi: some senators still need to be sworn-in (should be prioritized)
      2. Charles: maybe 10 min Q & A with Tekeya
   4. Jazz: Newsletter update: will be at first GBM, waiting to collab on pieces about senator initiatives
   5. Sumi: budget update?
      1. Amy: finalizing with Peter
         1. finance meetings will be right before GBM and office hours start next week, weekly on Friday
         2. Charles: way of asking for yearly allocation needs fixing
   6. Sumi: Mamadou idea about having a medic for Hopkins sports teams
   7. Nora: debrief the meeting with Julia
      1. Charles: seems like a good idea, need to figure out the details
   8. Grace: Demarri wants to set up a new website, has domain, let's talk to different senators and see what their digital needs are
      1. Charles: Hopkins website domain can’t be used independently
   9. Sumi: Nora create google calendar for SGA general members, one for exec board members
   10. Grace: Possible to get SGA canva pro account?
       1. Charles: we’d need to figure out a way to bill for it
