An SGA TABLING Funding Bill
Act to Fund the September Tabling event

SECTION 1. TITLE. This Act may be referred to as the “September Funding Bill”
SECTION 2. DEFINITIONS.
- SGA — The term “SGA” shall refer to the Student Government Association of The Johns Hopkins University.
- JHU, Hopkins - The terms “JHU” and “Hopkins” shall refer to the Johns Hopkins University.
- Tabling shall be defined as the terms in the constitution.
SECTION 3. FINDINGS AND PURPOSES.
- FINDINGS & PURPOSES
- SGA generally needs more of a purposeful tabling experience, where senators can properly discuss topics with the Hopkins Community at large.
- Tabling events are generally to promote events, and we should be using this space as a way to promote other collaborations or our own events.
- We should use SGA tablings as a way to sample the student body’s perspectives, but they have to be meaningful and interactive.
- Thus, this first funding bill will be a lot of the groundwork for later events - we do not need to give out a lot of free incentives to get people to interact with us, we just need better publicity items.

Should any provision of this Act, an amendment made by this Act, or the application of such provision or amendment to any person or circumstance be held to be unconstitutional or , the remainder of this Act, the amendments made by this Act, and the application of such provision or amendment to any person or circumstances shall not be affected thereby.
