SGA Briefing for The 7th Annual African Fashion Show African Students Association at the Johns Hopkins University

The purpose of the Annual ASA Fashion Show is to host a show on campus that displays the African Diaspora through clothing and music to our students and other guests. This is a fun event that brings the greater community together. Those involved show off their modeling skills, support and promote local and nonlocal African designers’ clothing, videographers, and photographers; all while raising money for a great cause. Purpose CHARITY: The money raised from ticket sales directly goes to an African-based charity of our choice. This year, the organization is United to Beat Malaria.

Last year we raised over $4000 for the Maasai Girls Education Fund.
