- Charles was absent.
- Finance Update–Brandon
- In our discretionary budget, we have 8,300 USD left.
- GBM Agenda–Nas
- Nasreen was absent; however, she will be able to send out the agenda.
- Stone said that, according to the information from Nasreen, Jackson Morris will be asking the senators to oppose the bill proposed by Tim, which closes the Executive Board and Internal Affairs Committee meetings to the public, but not to the general SGA.
- Event Results–Tim
- Email to Peabody Student Council
- Jacquelyn asked Stone to send an email to the Peabody Student Council. He asked Jessica if he needs approval from LEED to send this email.
- Student Body Email
- Stone finalized the email with the achievements of the senators from the year. It has been sent to Charles for approval.
- Stone asked Amy to prepare a graphic for the SGA Instagram that summarizes key points from the email.
- Transition Plans for Next Administration–Everyone
- Tim asked what everybody’s plans are for transition.
- Buse said that she is planning to write a brief document and organize a one-on-one meeting, which Amy supported as she believes this is necessary for new secretaries.
- Tim was in favor of having a Zoom meeting with the outgoing and incoming executive board and supplementing that with one-on-one meetings. He also asked what we are planning to do with the senate as last year, not a lot of people filled out the transition documents.
- After listening to Stone’s suggestions, Tim was in favor of enforcing a tighter deadline on the transition documents and regularly following up with them.
- Amy was thinking about incentives, yet she highlighted that they are hard to find since the SGA is ending.
- Tim explained that the transition documents are especially important for committees, so committee leaders should be encouraged to prepare them.
