16. Non-Legislative Business (15 min)

    1. Vice President Pro-Tempore Election - President Dalhart Dobbs
       1. This semester, the role does not have any specific duties and get ready for the transition. Position will be Nasreen’s shadow and Nasreen will be Dalhart’s shadow
       2. Brandon Benjamin - Role of SGA Senate is focusing on legislation and hope to help freshman especially on these goals, whether that be mental health, sustainability, and dining
       3. Mufusa - Senate class senator, want to support senators on legislation and find ways to support and network with each other and other organizations. Want to make SGA a “hospitable” place, it is large to communicate with each other, bridge friends and relationships together. Want to support events you have, attending what I could because you have come up to great ideas
       4. Stone - (1) know the rules and (2) keep things short. I know the rules like the back of my hand as Internal Affairs and like what I said for (2), I will end this speech early
       5. Tahini - Have participated in SGA-like organizations, want to be in SGA in the long term and this position can help me do this in future years.
       6. Stone as next VP of the Senate - majority vote
       7. Motion to get rid of impeachment trials for 2 unexcused absences
