Bill. 25-26} AN SGA ACADEMIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE COSPONSORSHIP FUNDING BILL ACT TO FUND ACADEMIC AFFAIRS TABLING AT NATIONAL PANCAKE DAY INTRODUCED BY: SENATOR KEVIN XU CONSIDERED THE DAY OF 16TH IN THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER IN THE YEAR 2025 SECTION 1. TITLE. This Act may be referred to as the “September Academic Affairs Tabling Funding Bill” SECTION 2. DEFINITIONS. (a) SGA — The term “SGA” shall refer to the Student Government Association of The Johns Hopkins University. (b) JHU, Hopkins - The terms “JHU” and “Hopkins” shall refer to the Johns Hopkins University. (c) AA – Academic Affairs Committee in SGA SECTION 3. FINDINGS AND PURPOSES. (a) FINDINGS & PURPOSES (explain why funding is needed, what the event is for, and what content and sponsorship is desired -- open to all? Celebrating event? Etc. ) a. Promote Academic Affairs and SGA to the student body in an inviting space in-person and distributed materials b. Open to all c. Event will occur for 2 hours in [insert location] on 9/26, [insert time] SECTION 4. SECTION 5 . SEVERABILITY. Should any provision of this Act, an amendment made by this Act, or the application of such provision or amendment to any person or circumstance be held to be unconstitutional or , the remainder of this Act, the amendments made by this Act, and the application of such provision or amendment to any person or circumstances shall not be affected thereby. UPON PASSAGE, WE HAVE HEREUNTO SET OUR HANDS AND CAUSED THE SEAL OF THE SENATE TO BE AFFIXED TO THIS BILL INDICATING THE SENATE’S ASSENT AND THUS OFFICIALLY DESIGNATED THE BILL’S ADOPTION AS LAW.
