As 68+ new registrations have been sent to the CSO stage of approval, approximately 40 new re-registration applications were delegated out to each CSO member, giving everyone 2 assignments to complete by next Sunday's meeting. Our action items are to a) have everyone complete their assignments for review and voting next meeting, and b) to request the necessary modifications from the student groups discussed last week. | 10/10/2023 14:08:37 | 10/10/2023 | Stone | Meng | Internal Affairs | This week, we finalized the attendance policy bylaw updates. We reduced the total number of excused absences, and we are going to count unexcused absences in the same category as excused absences. This means that an unexcused absence also counts toward excused absences, which makes logical sense. Additionally, we added attendance incentives. The President of SGA or the President of the senate can indicate that a SGA event is eligible, and members who volunteer/attend it can have their absences redacted. For specifics, please see the bill in the agenda. | |
| For upcoming goals | we want to keep making rational and positive changes like the attendance bylaws updates in order to improve the experience of every member of SGA. , | |||||
