Amir Modaressanavi Spikeball Fundraiser Alpha Kappa Psi: Anthony Sky Ng-Thow-Hing, Estelle Schurink

Context In light of our AKPsi brother, Amir Modaressanavi's passing, we hope to organize a fundraising event to gather, remember, and celebrate the wonderful moments he shared with us as we play a sport he loved All Proceeds will go to the American Stroke Association

Event Overview This will be an event on 4/21/2024 at the Freshman North Quad Collaborating w/ JHU Spikeball club — We plan to have 64 teams of 2 players each (128 total players). We plan to run 3 Spikeball tournaments, one for beginner skill level, one for intermediate, and one for advanced $12 individual entry or $20 team entry Free shirts & pizza for participants Will sell gatorade & have other means of raising money

Budget Breakdown 150 Custom T Shirts for all participants and spectators! 128 Gatorades / $1500 / $186 Pizza Lunch (2 slices a person) 8 Spikeball Nets (to make a total of 16 for 64 teams) $320 / $512 / / $60 ($20) Custom Trophies Total: $1040 ($500 financed by AKPSI)

Implementation Plan Meet & coordinate with Spikeball Club to create format / 01 Register on Hopkins Groups & meet w/ LEED / 02 Finalize and order shirts and trophies, Secure all spikeball nets / 03 Advertise for event / 04

Advertising Plan Create posts/stories and repost! 01 Social Media 02 Discuss at president’s meeting and offer incentives to other greek orgs FSL engagement 03 Putting up flyers around campus Flyers 04 We have 70 brothers in AKPsi & 20 active spikeball club members who can market to their friends! Word of mouth
