a. Cabinet Reports (4 min) i. Chair of Programming Tim Huang said that six alumni and 20 SGA members showed up to the SGA Alumni Event. The Freshman Formal is this Saturday. Huang asked the freshmen to help him find volunteers. Anyone who can volunteer should message Huang. Senior Week information will be sent out in the next week. ii. President of Senate Nasreen Naqvi said that she’s excited that this is her last day at SGA. She reflected on her SGA career and wished everyone who is running in the elections luck. She wishes that those who are running will keep finding meaning in their work while those who are not had a good time at SGA. iii. Executive Vice President Amy Li said that initiatives have been shared on the SGA Instagram to reflect the hard work of the members. iv. Executive President Stone Meng said that he doesn’t think the email will be sent to the student body as it keeps getting postponed. v. Naqvi said that the dinner with administration will be held on April 23rd. It is a great place to talk to the university leadership and other students. When Huang asked when the invites will be sent, Naqvi informed that she’ll ask how exactly the process will work out. When Li asked if this is only for SGA, Naqvi said that it will consist of the old and new SGA members along with some other student leaders. Senior Class Senator Jacquelyn Slade asked the time, which was clarified by Naqvi as 6-8 PM. b. Advisor Report (2 min)

c. Transition Videos- President Nasreen Naqvi i. Even if you are rerunning for your position or graduating, you are required to record a transition video. Especially committee chairs are required to record a transition video showing “a day in their life,” maybe even a mock meeting. The videos must be submitted by Monday, 11:59 PM. When these are submitted, they will be sent to the newly elected members. d. Academic Affairs Study Event- Senator Amy Xu i. WSE Senator Amy Xu said that they got the supplies. Xu asked for help with the distribution of snack packs. She wants to add an informational card within these packs. ii. Huang asked if he can come as a member of the public, to which Xu referred to an HSS event that will take place after inauguration. She believes that Huang should be able to sign up although he won’t technically be in SGA.

a. Resolution: Senior Send Off i. Meng, Li and Huang prepared the traditional Senior Send Off resolution. Huang and Li read the resolution. ii. Meng gave a speech and stated that being in SGA has been a pleasure for him. He talked about the efforts of the executive board in making SGA amicable and hospitable. Although he recognizes SGA has its ups and downs, he hopes to move forward and make progress. He wished the best of luck to those who are running in the upcoming elections. iii. Naqvi said that she is open to anyone reaching out to her via email or text if anyone needs advice.
