Act to Establish Funding for the Phi Psi x Camp Kesem x TEA Haunted House

Be it enacted by the Senate of the Student Government Association of The Johns Hopkins University assembled that:

SECTION 1. TITLE. This Act may be referred to as the “Phi Psi x Camp Kesem x TEA Haunted House,”

SECTION 2. DEFINITIONS

  1. SGA — The term “SGA” shall refer to the Student Government Association of The Johns Hopkins University.
  2. JHU, Hopkins — The terms “JHU” and “Hopkins” shall refer to The Johns Hopkins University.

SECTION 3. FINDINGS AND PURPOSES

  2. This is the latest installation of the recurrent annual fundraiser between Camp Kesem and Phi Psi that has been a great addition to campus atmosphere and allows for charitable donation to Camp Kesem
  3. The campus atmosphere would greatly benefit from the fun and de-stressing Haunted House experience that students partake in at a time of their convenience in groups. (b) PURPOSES
  4. This act establishes funding for the Haunted House we wish to establish at the Phi Psi House on 3203 N. Charles Street on October 26th, from 7-11 pm.
  5. Through funding this endeavor, SGA would reiterate its commitment towards making student experiences more enjoyable and memorable and also support the cause that Camp Kesem runs.

SECTION 4. FUNDING

SECTION 5. SEVERABILITY Should any provision of this Act, an amendment made by this Act, or the application of such provision or amendment to any person or circumstance is held to be unconstitutional, the remainder of this Act, the amendments made by this Act, and the application of such provision or amendment to any person or circumstances shall not be affected thereby.

The Bill hereby PASSES/FAILS by a vote of ___ to __with ___ ab stentions.

Upon passage, we have hereunto set our hands and caused the seal of the Senate to be affixed to this bill indicating the Senate’s assent and thus officially designated the bill’s adoption as law.
