      1. Student Body President - Vishnu Dontu He reported and reflected on SGA retreat. He also announced that he, omotara and tyler have been updating the Jackson Morris case. He announced that menstrual product survey will be sent out tomorrow morning (spear headed by Caraline)
      2. Student Body Vice President - Omotara Tiamiyu She reminded committee chairs to update the committee minutes.

    1. Treasurer - Imad Ahmed Amy reported that the Finance committee will have everything approved tomorrow during their meeting. They will also go into RSO bill.
      1. Chair of Programming - Tyler Turner Tyler asked senators to help the Meet the Jay event on Thursday. He also thanked all the senators who came to the retreat. DoC Jo is also present.

    1. SGA Mentorship Program - Chair Amy and Tanisha
  9. Amy and Tanisha introduced the SGA mentorship program. New senators are mandated to be mentees.

  10. First Reading (20 min)

    1. Fast with JHUMA - Senator Mamadou
  11. Senator Mamadou announced that JHUMA will be collaborating with the admin to host a Fast with JHUMA (Ramadan). JHUMA is asking for decoration fees.
  12. Tarini suggested reusing SGA decoration.
    1. Jay-Fila-Funding Bill - Chair Tyler
  13. Kevin inquired if SGA ever had 500 people participate and if 500 sandwiches will be excessive.
  14. Tyler responded that past events had food run out before and given that this event is drawing a lot of attention this year the amount is appropriate.
  15. Amy asked if there will be vegetarian/ vegan/ other dietary restriction options.
  16. Jibola asked if this will be incentified or will be given out for free.
  17. Tyler responded they will be free.
  18. Jason asked if this could be reframed to something meaningful.
  19. Kai suggested utilizing this opportunity to collect data/ interact with students.

    1. Office Hours Act - Senator Seán
  21. The bill was passed.
    1. Action Items Amendment - Chair Jazzlyn
  22. Jazzlyn asked senators if they have any initiatives going on they should report it. Jazz also said senators will give updates on initiatives during convening business.
    1. RSO Finance Workshop - Chair Amy
  23. Amy explained that the workshop’s objective is to inform RSOs about finance and collect data. She noted that she will come back with an updated action items next week.

However, SGA meetings are always slated to extend until 9:00 PM and SGA members are expected to remain in the Senate chamber until official adjournment by motion, whether before or after the adjournment estimate.
