# *Be it enacted by the Senate of the Student Government Association at Johns Hopkins University assembled that:*
1. **TITLE**
- This Act may be referred to as the “Chair of Programming Bylaws Update Bill”

2. **FINDINGS AND PURPOSES**
1. FINDINGS
- 1. In April 2022, the SGA voted to amend the SGA Constitution to make major structural changes to the organization over the course of the next two years. Further edits to the Constitution were made in April 2023\.
- 2. Currently, the SGA Bylaws are designed around the 2022-2023 (110th) SGA Administration and do not account for the structural changes instituted beginning with the 2023-2024 (111th) SGA Administration regarding the Office of Programming
+ 1. With the current biweekly meeting structure for certain committees, tasks are not efficiently completed.
+ 2. With committee attendance in general, some members are not actively participating, especially with virtual meetings.
2. PURPOSES
- 1. To amend the Bylaws of the Student Government Association at Johns Hopkins University to fit the current structure and practices of the SGA.

Explicitly, months that must have a tabling event include September, October, November, February, March, and April. 3.2.1.1.8.2 Tabling events must be at least one hour long. 3.2.1.1.8.3 Tabling events must be staffed by a minimum of six SGA representatives, each from the four class councils, as well as two other SGA members. A member of the Executive Board may be allowed to substitute one of the six SGA representatives. 3.2.1.1.8.4 SGA representatives must take turns tabling to ensure that as many different SGA representatives as possible are participating in these events. 3.2.1.1.8.5 All senators and the Executive Board must attend at least one tabling event throughout the year. 3.2.1.1.8.6 Tabling events must open to all JHU undergraduate students and be held in a space that is easily accessible to all JHU undergraduate students and preferably, in a highly frequented area. Possible tabling areas include: 3.2.1.1.8.6.1 Breezeway 3.2.1.1.8.6.2 Brody Learning Commons and Terrace 3.2.1.1.8.6.3 Milton S.
