Time-length and adjournment estimates are provided for the benefit of guests at Senate meetings. However, SGA meetings are always slated to extend until 10:00 PM and SGA members are expected to remain in the Senate chamber until official adjournment by motion, whether before or after the adjournment estimate

    1. Amendment to the Agenda: adding the event feedback summary presentation. PASSED

  2. IDEO Presentation/Workshop - Denis Cengiz
    1. JHU Co-Creation Sessions Loop 2 - SGA
    2. Met with 200 students
    3. Want to hear what students want
    4. Five key components of student satisfaction
      1. Confidence - succeeding academically

      3. Security - getting and navigating support
      4. Purpose - exploring and finding passions
      5. Joy - having fun
    5. Activity:
      1. Green dot on an experience that had a positive impact on you

    6. 4 stations: confidence, connection & joy, security, purpose
    7. President Stone: What is the end goal that we are trying to achieve?
      1. End goal: relay idea to staff and faculty that students want to see. Also want to see what areas are of high impact.
    8. Vice President Jackson: Who will the info be relayed to? Office of Student Affairs (who might in turn further relay)
    9. Activity took appx 40 minutes
    10. Will incorporate this feedback with their current research
    11. President Stone: It was really fun, what are successful stories from other universities and what impact have you made?
      1. NYU, first year experience, in mapping out critical milestones, such as centralizing communication, advising inconsistencies [forming 1:1 relationships]. Also hired 10 students in helping making these solutions possible to these problems
    12. Hope that this will bring more clarity and dialogue.
    13. Chair Shalala: how many more sessions are you planning and to whom are they targeted?
      1. Week 7 out of 10 week project.

        2. Reached out to board of trustees: prayer room, inclusive dietary plans, SNF Agora (more communications to follow soon)

        1. Archiving meeting on April 18 with the Dean of Libraries. If there’s anything specific to send into the Archive, let us know.
      4. Student Body Treasurer - Treasurer Jenny Chen
        1. If your group wants to submit an events grant, today’s the last day since tomorrow’s the last day for the committee meeting
      5. Chair of Programming - Chair Shalala Leny

        4. Involved in a couple of the transition meetings with some ppl from the senate
        5. Talked about a meeting with campus admins regarding Mitt Romney’s honorary degree
        6. Met on Monday with president Daniels with incoming execs.

        1. Reminded us the inauguration is next Tuesday in commons

  1. Transition Documents - President Nasreen Naqvi
    1. Requirements for transition docs are on Teams and have been sent via email
    2. Question: if someone is retaining their position, do they create a transition doc? Nasreen: no, just create a set of bullet points regarding goals for upcoming senate
    3. Due date: April 13
    4. POI: Jackson: Can you instead meet with your successor? Nasreen: not advised for the sake of documentation

    1. Next Tuesday 5:30-7pm in Commons Salon B
